Product description:
The first copies of the Type 366 armchair were made in 1959 at the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Świebodzice. The company, which had experienced the destructive power of fire, needed to produce a piece of furniture that would be simple in design and, as a result, easy and inexpensive to manufacture. An outstanding designer, Jozef Marian Chierowksi, was invited to do the job. The furniture was to the liking of multitudes of Poles, who were enthralled by its minimalist form. In fact, the armchair was sold not only in Poland, but also in other countries of the Eastern Bloc.
The armchair is after full restoration of the wooden structure. All layers of upholstery were replaced with new ones, i.e. upholstery belts, foams, fabric.
