GFM 64 armchair, designed by Edmund Homa, peach
The history of the GFM- 64 type armchair begins in 1965. The author of the design is Edmund Homa, and the furniture was produced at the Goscic Furniture Factory. The designer emphasized that organic forms and streamlined shape were the inspiration for his designs.
At the time, the Gościcińska Fabryka Mebli had a machine park unparalleled in Poland, where one could find a so-called milling-copying machine. This machine became the ticket to mass production of furniture with complex shapes. What was used on a regular basis in the West was still an exception in Poland. Goscicino was the only furniture factory in Poland that could boast such production technology.
The armchair is after an extensive renovation.
The beech wood is stained dark oak.
The peach/pink upholstery is easy to clean.
